My Confirmation Sponsor
My Confirmation Sponsor is my older sister, Erin Lyons. I chose her because she is a great role model of the faith being lived out and as a person I aspire to be. She has great morals and I hope to be like her one day. She is a kind, generous, smart, and loving person and I am honored to be able to follow in her footsteps. I know that she will help me live out my Sacramental promises I made in Confirmation.
My Confirmation Name
My Confirmation name is Grace, making my full name Emily Elizabeth Grace Lyons. One reason I chose the name Grace is because it is my sponsor's middle name who I hope to emulate in my faith life. Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God which is a beautiful and wonderful gift. God gave us all grace as a gift and I hope to bestow some of that grace around the world through my actions. Another reason is that St. Grace was a noble martyr for the Catholic faith and had a lot of courage by standing by her faith.
